JETware Hands-free Extension Version History

Thank you to everyone who helped test the new features and fixes in the update.  We will continue working to resolve the known issues, and to improve the usefulness of the Hands-free Extension.

Version 1.31 fixes the following known issues:
- Does not sync phonebook to Mercedes Benz systems
- Large Outlook phonebooks fail to sync to some BMW systems
- Caller ID does not display name on some devices
- Jabra BT800 headsets may shut off on incoming call
- Recent call lists names with non-ASCII characters may not display

Known issues with version 1.31:
- HTC Hermes/TyTn phones may disconnect from hands-free device
- "Use phone ringtones" does not work on HTC Hermes/TyTn-based phones
- There are still some connection problems with Audi systems
- Greek and Cyrillic characters don't display properly on many devices
 

Version 1.30 fixes the following known issues:
- Installing to Windows Mobile 5 phones reports that "the application may not display properly because it was designed for a previous version of Windows Mobile"
- Caller name does not display on Nokia HS-12W headsets
- Parrot systems fail to sync phonebooks if Outlook phonebook limit is set to zero
- Opel systems fail to read phonebook (Requires installation of settings for Opel)
- Supports sending phonebook to Lexus systems
- BMW ULF systems won't read SIM phonebook
- BMW ULF systems sometimes won't read phonebook
- Can't manually enter activation code
- "Send contacts" does not filter out unselected categories
- Audio switches back to handset during Voice Command 1.6 dialing

New Features in version 1.30:

- Pushing phonebook over ObEx/Object Push using "Send contacts" option sends a single file, resulting in much faster and more reliable transfer
- Options when using "Send contacts" to format names and control encoding

Version 1.20 update fixes the following known issues:
- Advanced options page in configuration application would not scroll
- Phone ID sometimes changed on some device
- Phone locks up on reboot after installing updated Extension
- Improved support for international characters in contacts and caller ID
- Support for phonebook and caller ID on Tekkeon EZ3000
- Support installation to Storage Card
- "Use phone ringtones" causes no audio in calls on stereo (A2DP) headsets
- Signal strength indicator updates slowly
- Can't read phonebook from non-GSM phones
- Some Outlook contact categories may appear many times in list of categories
- Hands-free device incorrectly reports call in progress on initial connection

Version 1.20 is still available for those who do not wish to upgrade.
